Kayenta Trail Details

Located between the Emerald Pools and Big Bend, this short, easy trail is a good way to link a number of canyon hikes together, such as connecting the Emerald Pools to the Grotto and Angels Landing. The trail leads through groves of junipers, and desert landscapes studded with yellow prickly pear cactus and tall yucca. Although not usually considered a scenic trail, it does offer some delightful views of the lower mountainsides and the sprawling canyon.
