Continental Divide Details

The Continental Divide -- the mountain range that divides the U.S. into watersheds draining to the Pacific and Atlantic oceans -- passes through Yellowstone National Park. The Continental Divide hiking trail, about 70 percent complete and envisioned as a 3,100-mile route from Canada to Mexico, also runs through the park.
