Maswik Lodge Details
Maswik Lodge is one of several affordable lodging options inside Grand Canyon Village. Advance reservations are essential, especially during the summer. The north and south lodge buildings are located in a Ponderosa Pine grove, giving you the sense of residing in a campground. All are located a quarter-mile from the rim of the canyon. Due to low lighting in public areas, Grand Canyon is one of the best places in the world to do some stargazing. Bring a flashlight to help navigate during your stay. Maswik South rooms are standard motel quality, with two queen beds, mini-refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, full baths, telephones, and TVs; the rooms in Maswik North are somewhat larger and feature in-room Keurig coffee, mini-refrigerators, air conditioning, safes, cable TVs, telephones, and two queen-size beds or one king-size bed. You can dine at the Maswik Food Court or the Pizza Pub -- the latter doubles as a sports bar. Bright Angel Lodge, El Tovar, Lookout Studio and Hopi House are also a short walk away and provide additional shopping and dining options.
