Tarry-A-While Details
In 1912-13, Mary Schaffer Warren and William (Billy) Warren built Tarry-a-while as their residence, where Mary lived until her death in 1939. She was well-known for her early explorations, writing and paintings depicting the Canadian Rockies. The house is found within a residential area of the Town of Banff, on Grizzly Street. Tarry-a-while is listed on Canada's Historic Places and the Canadian Register.
