Dog Canyon Trailhead Details
The trailhead is specifically for the Dog Canyon Trail, but it leads to a trail split at the creek where you can choose to either continue on the Dog Canyon Trail or turn onto the Devil's Den Trail. Dog Head Canyon is an easy, flat hike that leads to an impressive canyon. Devil's Den Trail is much longer and more difficult, but the hard work is rewarded with an amazing ravine and a lot more to see on the hike. The trailhead for both hikes is located 3.5 miles south of the Persimmon Gap Visitor Center. Pull off the road and park to the left next to a roadside exhibit.
