Sand Sheet Loop Trail Details
The Sand Sheet Loop Trail is a short hike that starts at the Visitor Center that helps you learn about the grassland ecosystem and how the park's dunes were formed. Interpretive signs and benches line the trail, which is a good introduction to the park before you set out to explore the dune fields. Watch for miniature short-horned lizards in the grass along the trail during the summer.
