Discovery Center Details
Located across from the Loomis Museum, the Discovery Center is a great place for children and families to learn and explore more about the park. The Center is specifically geared toward children (though all ages are welcome). The Discovery Center is not open all year, nor does it have specific operating times. During the busy summer months, rangers and park staff will hold programs there frequently. Check either the park newspaper or call the park at (530) 595-4480 for more information. The center has a wheelchair accessible bathroom, tactile displays, and other interactive exhibits.
