Green River Bluffs Trail Details
The Green River Bluffs Trail starts at the picnic area and ends at the River Styx Trail. It offers beautiful views of the Green River on high ridges above the banks, and passes several springs and small cave openings. Take some time perched atop the bluffs to look out over the river, and keep an eye out for groves of mature beech and sycamore trees in the lower reaches of the trail. For the best views, hike this trail between late fall and early spring, when there is no foliage. You may choose to connect with other trails for a longer hike.
