Tower Fall Campground Details
Set at 6,600 feet along the winding road to Dunraven Pass, Tower Fall Campground offers a scenic base on Yellowstone’s northern edge. The campground is close to Tower Fall and the Tower General Store, with Lamar Valley’s renowned wildlife viewing just a short drive away. Several hiking trails begin in the area, and nearby Roosevelt Lodge provides dining and horseback riding. Operated by the National Park Service, all sites are reservable through Recreation.gov. The campground is well suited for those looking to explore the northern range while staying in a quieter, forested setting. Amenities are simple and seasonal. Vault toilets and potable water are available during the operating season, along with food storage lockers, trash collection, a seasonal camp store, and an amphitheater. There are no showers, laundry facilities, or dump station. Cell service and internet connectivity are not available. Wood and charcoal fires are generally permitted unless fire restrictions are in place, and propane stoves are typically allowed. The campground is closed from September 28 through May 21 each year.
