Ledge Geyser Details

The second largest geyser in the Norris Geyser Basin, this interesting geyser seems to erupt at an angle, creating the illusion that it is shooting water off a high ledge. Eruptions can measure up to 125 feet in height, and are capable of reaching some 220 feet away on the ground due its 40 eruption angle. Although eruptions are quite spectacular, this geyser is fairly inactive, and experiences long stretches of dormancy.
