Norris Geyser Basin Museum Details
Built in 1929, this National Historic Landmark is an excellent example of the stone-and-log style architecture that became the iconic design for all National Park buildings across the country. The museum is located near both Porcelain Basin and the Norris Geyser Basin, and contains a number of exhibits illustrating geothermal geology and the specific thermal features in the basins. There is a Yellowstone Association bookstore and restrooms facilities in the adjacent building.
