Grant Village Campground Details
Set in a lodgepole pine forest on the southwest shore of Yellowstone Lake, Grant Village Campground offers a peaceful base at about 7,800 feet in elevation. Just a few miles away, the West Thumb Geyser Basin lines the lakeshore with steaming pools and boardwalk trails, and the campground’s location makes it convenient for travelers entering from the south or continuing on to Grand Teton National Park. The campground features more than 400 regular sites and eight group sites for tents, RVs, combination setups, and ADA needs, along with walk in sites for hikers and cyclists. Sites range from partly shaded to more open and sunny, and all include a picnic table and fire grate. RVs up to 50 feet can be accommodated in select pull through and back in sites, though space for larger rigs is limited and terrain may be uneven. Amenities include comfort stations with flush toilets and cold running water, dishwashing areas in most restroom buildings, a dump station, recycling area, and a nearby camper services facility with showers and laundry. Campsite rates include two showers per night, excluding group sites. There are no electrical, water, or sewer hookups at individual campsites. Internet service is not available in the campground and cell coverage is limited. The season runs from late-June to late-September, with dates subject to change.
