Climb aboard a replica Tally Ho stagecoach and experience a taste of Yellowstone’s early travel days. In the late 1800s, visitors spent days rumbling along dusty roads by coach. Today, you can enjoy a shorter but equally memorable ride through the sagebrush meadows of Pleasant Valley. Departing from Roosevelt Corral, this experience includes a 15 minute safety briefing followed by approximately 45 minutes on the trail along an old stagecoach route. The coaches feature padded seating, including upper tally ho seats in the rear. For safety reasons, children under 8 may not sit in the upper back tally ho section. Tours operate June 6 through September 7, 2026, with select afternoon departures beginning June 5. Morning rides check in at 9:45 am and return around 10:45 am. Afternoon departures include 1:00 pm returning at 2:00 pm, and, through August 5, a 2:15 pm departure returning at 3:15 pm. Adult rate is 22.10 dollars and child rate for ages 3 to 11 is 11.05 dollars, with children under 3 free. Taxes and fees are included. Departure location: Roosevelt Corrals, 105 Roosevelt Lodge Rd, Yellowstone, WY 82190. Guests not staying at Roosevelt Lodge should allow extra travel time due to park distances and traffic. Activities may be canceled due to severe weather, with full refunds provided.
