Built in 1920 near the Tower Fall area, Roosevelt Lodge Cabins sits in a corner of Yellowstone long associated with President Theodore Roosevelt. Rustic and relaxed, this is the place to slow down, settle into a porch rocking chair, and let the wide open landscape do the rest. Families and anglers have long favored the lodge for its Old West atmosphere and easy access to the northern range. The lodge is known for its large corral operation, offering guided horseback rides, stagecoach adventures, and the popular Old West Dinner Cookout, where hearty meals are served in a scenic outdoor setting. It is a classic Yellowstone experience with a frontier spirit. Accommodations include Frontier Cabins with private baths and two double beds, as well as more rustic Roughrider Cabins with one to three double beds and wood burning stoves for heat. Roughrider Cabins do not have private bathrooms, and communal restrooms and showers are located nearby. Select cabins are pet friendly for an additional nightly fee. ADA units are available in limited numbers. As with all Yellowstone park lodging, cabins are non smoking and designed to reflect the natural surroundings. There is no air conditioning, television, radio, or internet service, though cabins do have electricity. Cooking is not permitted. The season runs from early-June to early-September, with dates subject to change.
