Fallen Trees Details
After the wildfires in 1988 thousands of burnt trees were left on the formally forested hills of Yellowstone National Park. Many have since fallen, but they still fall every day, and often without warning. Avoid areas with lots of dead trees, and be alert while traveling on trails and roadways, or in campsites, as even a small tree can cause a good deal of damage.
