At Bridge Bay Marina, you can rent an 18 foot motorboat with a 40 hp outboard and cruise the northern end of the lake as captain of your own adventure. It is a memorable way to experience the largest high elevation lake in the country, with mountain views and wide open water all around. Rentals are available on a walk up, first come, first served basis only, with a minimum rental time of one hour and a maximum of eight hours. Each boat accommodates up to six people. Operators must be at least 18 years old and present a government issued ID or passport. Children must be at least 2 years old to participate. Pets are not allowed, and boats may not be beached or operated more than 200 yards from shore. Life jackets are provided and required. The rental fee includes fuel and damage insurance with a 750 dollar deductible. Additional time beyond the first hour is prorated. For the 2026 season, rentals operate June 12 through August 3 from 8:00 am, with the latest rental at 5:30 pm and final return by 7:00 pm. From August 4 through September 14, hours begin at 9:00 am, with the latest rental at 4:00 pm and final return by 5:30 pm. The rate is 75.80 dollars per hour, including taxes and fees.
