Hikers walk along the shore of String Lake and pass a bridge across a stream outlet before climbing to Leigh Lake. Hikers will enjoy great views of the lake, Mt. Moran, Teewinot Mountain and Rockchuck Peak. Various cutouts lead to the shores of the lakes. This trail intersects several others, including the String Lake Horse Trail and the Bearpaw Lake Trail. The trail begins at the Leigh Lake Trailhead, located off North Jenny Lake Junction.
