Hikers can choose between following Jenny Lake's south shore to a climb with views, or, you can take the shuttle boat (tickets purchased at the South Jenny Lake boat dock) and significantly reduce the length of the hike from 5.2 miles to 1.2 miles. Full hike: 5.2 miles round trip with 550-foot total climb. Hike via shuttle boat: 1.2 mile round trip with 150-foot total climb.
