Thousands of volunteers donate tens of thousands of hours to support Olympic National Park each year. Olympic depends on volunteers to accomplish its mission of serving park visitors and protecting park resources. Volunteers-In-Parks, or VIPs, support the park in many ways, including visitor education, trail maintenance, and wilderness management. The park offers a variety of experiences including long- and short-term assignments, internships, wilderness-based activities, and day-long projects.
