[Washington's National Park Fund](http://wnpf.org/) is a non-profit organization that's the primary fundraising partner for the three national parks in Washington state. Originally incorporated in 1993, the fund solicits, accepts, and distributes donations and grants for the North Cascades, Mount Rainier, and Olympic National Parks, and helps the parks determine and execute short and long-term projects. Recent projects have included the National Parks Centennial Initiative, building and maintaining trails and shelters, projects to preserve the cultural and ecological assets of the parks, and the development of visitor education programs. There are many ways to help support the Washington National Parks, from purchasing Washington State national parks license plates, to giving individual gifts in honor of loved ones, to dropping small donations in the collection boxes around the parks. Every gift donated to the Fund makes a difference.
