Top Events Details

There are three major events that occur annually in North Cascades National Park. The Skagit Eagle Festival, a month-long celebration of these endangered majestic birds, takes place every January in the towns of Concrete, Rockport, and Marblemount. The festival features eagle-themed guided walks, workshops, educational programs, cultural events, and tours. National Park Week, which usually takes place in late April, is a national celebration of America's national parks and offers a wide range of events that promote natural attractions, exciting vacations, and exploration for all. Admission is free to all parks during this week. Visitors can also experience the neotropical bird migration that takes place every spring at North Cascades, as migratory songbirds, birds of prey, and shorebirds travel north. Although this is not an official event, there are educational talks and programs about the habitats and conservation efforts associated with migratory birds.
