Ranger-Led Programs Details
During the peak visiting season there are a number of talks, guided tours, and educational programs available from the park ranger stations and visitor centers. Many ranger-led programs focus on the region's history, culture, and ecosystems and are geared toward specific age groups. Past ranger programs have included bear discovery, bird identification, the BioBlitz biodiversity series, and Stehekin cultural history. There is also a Junior Ranger Program for both children and families, which follows a mock ranger-training program aimed at environmental stewardship, education, and exploration by using fun activities and kid-friendly themes.
