Compton Gap Details

Located at mile marker 10.4 on Skyline Drive, the 2,415-foot Compton Gap serves as a trailhead for the Dickey Ridge Trail as well as the Compton Peak West and East trails. There is ample parking here for a quick stop or extended hike. Just south of Compton Gap is the Indian Run Overlook, with more scenic views of the park.
