Blackrock Summit Trail Details

Take a few minutes to fit in this short hike to the rock outcroppings of Blackrock Summit for gorgeous views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. From the Blackrock Summit Trailhead (mile 84.4 on Skyline Drive), follow the Appalachian Trail south and continue as it rounds a rocky slope. When you reach the intersection with Blackrock Hut Road and the Trayfoot Mountain Trail, turn left and follow it back to your starting point.
