From the Blackrock Summit Trailhead (mile 84.4 on Skyline Drive), follow the Appalachian Trail south and continue as it rounds a rocky slope. When you reach the intersection with Blackrock Hut Road and the Trayfoot Mountain Trail, turn left and follow it back to your starting point.
