Tucked away in the Mount Mansfield State Forest on a peninsula overlooking the Waterbury Reserve sits this 90-acre state park. It is a popular day-use site that attracts all types of visitors, including families, couples, pet owners, and even large groups. Because of its location near the lake, most of the activities offered are water-based. There is a small swimming beach, two fishing platforms, and a shop for renting kayaks and canoes. The park also has a small nature trail and multiple picnic sites with charcoal grills. While most people come just for the day, you can also choose to spend the night at one of the secluded campsites, which can only be reached by boat.
