Not for the faint of heart, this 2-mile hike to the top of this mountains summit is a steep, strenuous journey. In order to reach the 3,538-foot-tall peak, you will climb nearly 2,300-feet in just under two hours. However, there are several fascinating features along the way to make the journey a little more bearable. You will see waterfalls, flowing streams, log bridges, and even open wildflower meadows. The summit itself is also cleared and offers unobstructed views over Camels Hump, Mount Mansfield, and the Waterbury Reserve.
