Lareau Hole Details

A fun hangout spot for locals and families, this swimming hole is right on the Mad River. The water near the banks is warm and shallow, although you can also swim more towards the middle if you are looking for an underwater swim. Although you might see people jumping off the large boulders in the middle, it can be dangerous since the river is only 12-feet deep. There is a long stretch of sandy beach (with restroom facilities) on the river so you can dry off and soak in the sun after going for a swim.
