It should go without saying, but the picturesque views atop this mountains 4,052-foot summit are nothing short of astounding. Starting at the Lincoln Gap parking lot, you will wind your way up the slopes approximately 2.5-miles to the peak for a total elevation gain of 1,735-feet. The journey itself is quite beautiful, as you will be surrounded by spruce forests and rocky boulders for nearly the entire hike. But the views of Camels Hump, New Hampshires Mount Washington, and New Yorks Adirondacks make this one of the most scenic sections of the Long Trail.
