Cantilever Rock Details
This unique rock formation sits halfway up the western slope of Mount Mansfield. It is a horizontal rock that sticks out of the hillside at a 90-degree angle. This short .2-mile trail is a detour off the Sunset Ridge Trail, which leads to the summit of the mountain. After admiring the rock and the amazing view over the cliffs, you can continue up to the peak or head back down to the trailhead.
