Parking is limited in Zion National Park and lots are generally full between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. To avoid parking hassles, park in Springdale and ride the free shuttle to the park. Look for the "Shuttle Parking" signs throughout town. If you are staying at a lodge or motel, simply leave your car and ride the town shuttle to the park. If you drive into the park, expect delays at the vehicle entrance and limited parking. If you park in Springdale and ride the free shuttle to the park, expect quick entry at the pedestrian entrance. Improper parking is unsafe, can damage park resources, and is discourteous to other visitors. Please park in designated parking spaces only. Parking regulations will be strictly enforced with citations based on violations of signed "no parking" areas, traffic obstruction, and damage to resources or government property.
