A good stop is not just something to read about. Once it belongs on the day, move into a saved trip and build the route around it.
Use this detail page to confirm that the stop is worth it, then carry that decision into a trip draft while the park context is still fresh.
Flash Floods Details
Many of the narrow canyons in Zion National Park have a potentially high risk of experiencing flash floods. Flooding can occur from sudden rainstorms, and are often the result of unseen storms happening miles away. If potentially hazardous weather threatens, DO NOT enter these canyons. Any visitor entering one of these beautiful geological features assumes the risks. Remember, all visitors are responsible for their own safety, but careful planning and cautious behavior can help decrease risk.
