Firearms Details
Firearms are permitted in many parts of Zion National Park. Visitors are required to understand and comply with all federal and local firearm laws and regulations. Firearms are federally prohibited in certain posted areas of the park, and the open carry of loaded firearms on park shuttle buses is prohibited by Utah state law, as it the discharge of firearms and hunting within the park. These laws are strictly enforced by park rangers, and violators will be prosecuted.
