Elevation Details
Zion National Park features a number of canyons and mountain peaks, many of which are easily accessible by most visitors. Due to the varying elevations of certain areas -- Zion Canyon Scenic Drive begins at 4,000 feet and ends at 4,500 feet, for example -- visitors with heart problems or other concerns should check with a doctor before visiting areas with elevations exceeding 4,000 feet.
