Driving Details
The roads in Zion National Park are highly trafficked and used by motor vehicles, bicyclists, walkers, and even the occasional wild animal. The speed limit on most of these roads is 35 mph unless otherwise posted, but drivers should use caution in more congested areas, as well as remote places where fallen branches, rockslides, and animals may pose serious road obstacles. The use of seat belts and child safety belts is required for all occupants in vehicles. Rangers strictly enforce all vehicle laws, including speeding, driving under the influence, and seat belt laws.
