Angels Landing Trail Details

Combined with the West Rim Trail, this tough trek is a five-mile, four-hour roundtrip between the banks of the Virgin River and the summit of Angel's Landing, nearly 1,500 feet above. Sections of the Angels Landing Trail are just a few feet wide, with 1,000-foot drop-offs on either side, and the summit is reachable only by using a length of chain for guidance. It's not for the faint of heart, but the trail is nonetheless very popular.
