The Grotto Details

This beautiful mid-canyon spot is a picnic area with fire grates, picnic tables, fresh water, and restrooms. An old stone building here once housed the park's visitor center. A half-mile trail connects the Grotto with the Zion Lodge and offers glimpses of many of the park's most famous landmarks. The Grotto also serves as the trailhead for the Angels Landing, Lady Mountain, Kayenta, and West Rim trails.
