Plan Around Support
A good stop is not just something to read about. Once it belongs on the day, move into a saved trip and build the route around it.
Use this detail page to confirm that the stop is worth it, then carry that decision into a trip draft while the park context is still fresh.
Support Details
The [Capitol Reef Natural History Association](https://www.capitolreefnha.org/) is the park's main partner. This non-profit was created to help promote the historical, cultural, scientific, and educational activities at Capitol Reef National Park and the National Park Service. Proceeds from the sale of publications and other interpretive materials are donated to further this mission. The association also supports research, interpretation and conservation programs for Capitol Reef and the National Park Service. Funding provided to the park from the CRNHA provides supplemental visitor center and information desk staff, as well as paying for free publications available to visitors. Employees of the CRNHA also operate the Historic Gifford Farmhouse.
