Support Details
[Friends of Arches and Canyonlands Parks](http://http://www.nps.gov/arch/getinvolved/supportyourpark/joinourfriends.htm) connects people to places in ways that continue former Superintendent of Arches and "Father of Canyonlands" Bates Wilson's values of exploration, collaboration and stewardship. *The Friends of Arches and Canyonlands Parks: Bates Wilson Legacy Fund* provides direct support to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks in order to enhance existing projects in these spectacular areas to conserve the land and its cultural treasures for present and future generations to enjoy. Values of the support group are •That the park visitor experiences a strong personal connection with the land. •That exploration and education opportunities abound at the Parks. •That these public lands are preserved forever. •That the youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow and form their own connections to the land. Another non-profit, the [Canyonlands Natural History Association](http://http://www.cnha.org/) (CNHA) plays a vital role in southeastern Utah (and southwestern Colorado). Their goal is to enhance visitors' appreciation of public lands.
