Squaw Flat Campground Details
Nestled deep in the heart of the Needles District is the Squaw Flat trailhead and campground. The primitive 26-site campground, available on a first-come-first-served basis, has vault toilets, picnic tables, fire grates but no water or electricity. During the busy season the campground bustles with activity so get there early to stake out a spot. Enjoy the awe-inspiring sunrises and sunsets, fantastic views and remoteness of the area. The nightly fee is $10 per site. One campsite is accessible. Squaw Flat is the hub of a web of trails leading to Big Springs, Lost Canyon, Salt Creek Canyon, Horse Canyon and many other classic Canyonlands destinations. Bring plenty of water as you explore the backcountry of Canyonlands.
