Plan Around Mountain Biking
A good stop is not just something to read about. Once it belongs on the day, move into a saved trip and build the route around it.
Use this detail page to confirm that the stop is worth it, then carry that decision into a trip draft while the park context is still fresh.
Mountain Biking Details
People travel from around the globe to experience mountain biking in Canyonlands, especially along the 100-mile White Rim Trail. Go with an organized group or bring your own support vehicle to carry water and camping supplies for this 4-day journey. In addition to the White Rim Trail there are many shorter routes to explore by bike. And the diverse terrain in the park is perfect for all levels of mountain biking. You can (and should) apply up to a year in advance for permits to the White Rim Trail. Ask the rangers to suggest trails for your endurance and time constraints, bring a repair kit and have a blast!
