Bryce Canyon National Park offers a free, daily guided tour to Rainbow Point, offered from May to September at 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. daily. The 3.5-hour, 40-mile tour makes pickups at six locations (Ruby's Inn, Ruby's Campground, the Shuttle Parking and Boarding Area across from Ruby's Inn, Bryce Canyon Lodge, North Campground and Sunset Campground) and makes eight stops at scenic viewpoints in the southern end of the park. You should bring your own snacks, drinks, and proper clothing; backpackers can also use this shuttle to get to backcountry trailheads. Reservations are required and can be made at Ruby's Inn, Ruby's Campground, the Shuttle Parking and Boarding Area, or by calling 435-834-5290 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Reservations can be made up to 24 hours in advance. Buses hold up to 45 passengers; unclaimed seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
