Rim Trail Details
The Bryce Canyon Rim Trail is a vigorous alternative to driving your car from viewpoint to viewpoint along the canyon's edge: it's a 5.5-mile (one-way) hike that runs from Fairyland to Bryce Point, meaning you can visit Sunrise, Sunset, and other overlooks along the way. The section of trail between Sunrise and Sunset points is flat and paved: it's handicapped-accessible and is where park rangers lead guests on short rim walks. However, other parts of the rim walk are unpaved and have some steep hills. The extra exertion is rewarded with spectacular and ever-changing views of the canyon.
