Plan Around Picnicking
A good stop is not just something to read about. Once it belongs on the day, move into a saved trip and build the route around it.
Use this detail page to confirm that the stop is worth it, then carry that decision into a trip draft while the park context is still fresh.
Picnicking Details
There are picnicking facilities available at some of Bryce Canyon National Park's most scenic spots, including Sunset Point and Rainbow Point. Picnic tables also can be found at the General Store and in the picnic area at mile 4.5 of the park road. You can also picnic at the south end of North Campground between April and October; this is the only location in the park where you'll find fire grates, as well. All but Rainbow Point and the mile 4.5 area have drinking water available seasonally.
