Camping Details

Bryce Canyon National Park has two campgrounds: North and Sunset. Fees are identical at both: $20 for tent sites, $30 for RV sites. All sites are limited to 10 adults, three tents, and two vehicles. Neither campground has RV hookups. North Campground is walking distance from the park visitor center, the Lodge at Bryce Canyon, and the Bryce Amphitheater. Campsites (86 tent, 13 RV) are located in a grove of Ponderosa pines, and the campground has restrooms with running water, drinking water, and, during the summer, a dump station, laundry, showers, and a picnic area at the General Store. RV sites can be reserved by reservation between May and September, while tent sites are first-come, first-serve and fill up quickly during the summer. One loop of this campground remains open in winter. Sunset Campground, with its 20 tent sites, 80 RV and/or tent sites, and the only group campsite in the park, also is close to the Lodge at Bryce Canyon and the Bryce Amphitheater. It is closed during the winter.
