Bicycling
The paved roads in the park can be used for bike touring, but you can't bike below the rim of the canyon.
Plan Around Bicycling
A good stop is not just something to read about. Once it belongs on the day, move into a saved trip and build the route around it.
Use this detail page to confirm that the stop is worth it, then carry that decision into a trip draft while the park context is still fresh.
Bicycling Details
Above the rim of Bryce Canyon, there are miles of paved, mostly flat roadways open to bicycle riding, and the modest distances between park overlooks make bike touring of the park a viable option. Bikes are prohibited on hiking trails and below the rim of the canyon, however. Bikers should note that there's a paved, eight-mile bike path through Red Canyon in the nearby Dixie National Forest, and you can also mountain bike in this park and on the dirt roads in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.
