This trail stretches from Waco to Georgetown and through the charming communities of Georgetown, Salado, College Station, Navasota, and Clifton (just to name a few). The trail is part of the 10-region Heritage Trail Program outlined by the Texas Historical Commission, which focuses on preserving some of Texas' most iconic landmarks. The entire trail is 472 miles long and would take roughly 16 hours to complete without stopping. To make the most of your trip, plan your stops ahead of time or allot a few hours a day to explore the parks, museums, restaurants, and historic city centers dotted along the route.
