Indian Lodge Details
Located in the Davis Mountain State Park, this historic lodge is the perfect retreat for a weekend getaway or rural vacation. It's a full-service hotel with 39 rooms, a restaurant, and even an outdoor pool. Parts of the lodge were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, although it went through a remodel and expansion in 1967. You can still see some of the original features in the 18-inch thick white adobe walls and hand-carved wooden furniture. As you'll be staying in the middle of a state park, you'll have plenty of outdoor adventures at your fingertips. Go for a long hike, admire the wildlife from the bird blind, or simply soak in the majestic views of the mountainous ridges and valleys.
