Stargazing Details

There are no official stargazing events at the park, but anyone is welcome-- and encouraged-- to hang out after sunset to watch the stars come out to play. The National Parks Service is making efforts to reduce light pollution by switching to outdoor lighting options that focus all light on the ground and prevent any excess light from traveling to the sky. As a result, the night sky is especially brilliant here.
