Chisos Campground Details

Chisos Basin is the most sought after campground in Big Bend because of its awesome location and cool temperatures compared to the other campgrounds that are at lower altitudes. This 60-site campground is $14 per night per site with flush toilets, running water, dump station, grills and picnic tables. There are seven group sites available with a minimum of nine people per site. Reservations for group sites should be made well in advance. You can make reservations by calling (877) 444-6777 or visiting their [reservation site](http://www.recreation.gov/campground/r/campgroundDetails.do?contractCode=NRSO&parkId=74044). The close proximity to the Window Trail and the Chisos Basin Trailhead (the starting point of six different mountain hikes) makes this the perfect place to stay if you are interested in seeing all that the Chisos Mountains have to offer.
