Blue Creek Ranch Overlook Details
Take in the view of the headquarters of the Homer Wilson Ranch and the valley that it sits in from this scenic overlook. The Homer Wilson Ranch was one of the largest in the area before the park was formed and the headquarters is still well intact. You can go inside the home and get an idea for what ranch life was like before Big Bend was a national park. The walk down into the valley is quick and easy, but remember that once you walk down, you have to walk back up! The short trail that leads to the headquarters also connects up with two popular hiking trails; Blue Creek Canyon and Dodson.
